The President and the Senator

We attended the annual Worland Chamber of Commerce Bar-B-Que tonight. William was able to shake hands and speak with our State Senator, John Borasso. He asked William what he wanted to be when he grows up, and as usual, the reply was "the President". Mr. Borasso told William that if he ever comes to visit Washington D.C., he'd let him sit at his desk. That's a trip I'm sure we'll be making since his interest in history and politics seems to grow each day. I've heard that to run for president, it helps to have friends in high places- if it's true, then the kid's got a pretty good start!

Special Visitors From Casper

Megan, Emily, and Alyssa came to Worland for a visit yesterday, it was our first official cousins sleep over! We had such a great time, we played at Sanders Park, Played Playdough, Colored, Looked at Pictures, Napped, and Went Exploring around the Neighborhood. Monday night, all the boys went to Karate and the girls went shopping at Pamida (it lasted about 10 minutes, but it was still fun!). After everyone fell asleep, the mommies stayed up to scrapbook. We already miss them- Come back and see us soon!

couch potatoes

The kids got into the pantry and opened a loaf of bread while I was busy on the phone today. When I came in, they were watching cartoons and stuffing their little faces! Yesterday, William and Ben ate 11 fruit roll-ups between the two of them while I thought they were napping- this afternoon, I heard the sound of crinkling plastic and laughing upstairs. When I came into their room, I could see that they were both inside a sleeping bag, so I picked up the end of the bag, and rolled them out, hoping to catch them in the sneaky act again! To my happy suprise, there were no fruit roll ups, just the bread bag again!

Weekend Landscaping Project

We added a rock circle to our front yard last weekend. There is a flag pole, a rusty wheel barrow full of flowers, and a lily bush inside.

We planted these lilies inside the rock circle and up against the front of the house.
